Metropolis Robot Transformation Giorgio Moroder Movie DVD 1927 Fritz Lang

Many purist Fritz Lang buffs didn't appreciate Giorgio Moroder's soundtrack on Metropolis, but I, having seen it some fifty times or more at cons and while visting my agent Forry Ackerman's Ackermansion, really did appreciate it. Lang was a visualist. He saw rather than heard his visions into existence. I do believe that he would have liked the result had he lived to see and hear it.

Maria's likeness is given to the Robot in a classic scene from Fritz Lang's 1927 SciFi movie. Brigitte Helm plays both Maria and the robot, with Rotwang played by Rudolf Klein-Rogge.
